There are black plastic nuts inside the trunk that will unscrew off that will release the tail lamp for removal

Ihavr a 2000 chevy cavalier for some reason the brake lights dont work most of the time, also along with this the turn signals ewont flash. ive already replaced both sockets and bulbs in the rear im not...

Check your fuse first thing. You may also have a bad brake light switch. If the turn signals come on but just will not flash then replace the flasher relay.

How do I replace the taillight bulb on a 2001 Chevy cavalier?

In the trunk - find the plastic thumb screws and un-do them You might have to look behind the carpeted cover. The tail light will come off and you will be able to replace the bulbs..

Good luck

2002 chevy cavalier, have replaced the right tail light and turn signal bulbs twice in 3 months and it is out again. What is the problem? Electrical or socket? I have to take it in to someone and need help...

If the bulb you replaced has the glass of the bulb Grey or black inside that is water getting in and killing the bulb,or it could just be a very cheap bulb like from walmart or kmart.instead of a good one from NAPA.
