Question about 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
When i turn on my blower motor my 2004 trailblazer stalls at least 4 times a week. the rpm goes down and it stalls. its doesnt make any noise. everything just stalls. soon as i turn the blower motor off and start the car back up its on.
If this happens while the defrost of ac is turned on, it could be a seized ac compressor which will cause the serpentine belt to squeal and drag making the engine sometimes stall. if it happens with the ac off and the selector on say the floor, or dash vents, the issue could be a bad alternator and battery. this is confirmed when the blower motor engages and the lights dim and then the truck goes dead.

I know it sounds silly, but mine was doing the same exact thing. Easy fix... I changed the oil and added engine cleaner. Evidently, the old oil was gumping up on the sensors, causing them to act up. Immediately resolved the issue.
