Question about 1995 Ford Explorer
Couple of times when you replace the remote battery, you might
have them not working/ responding but just follow the procedure below.
Stand
close to the car, hold down the open and close knobs for about 10
seconds. Press them at the same time for 3 seconds; then press the open
button as the car opens.
The above procedure is applicable to a lot of car brands. It does not matter how many knobs you might have on the remote fob.
I have carried this procedure out on a lot of brands ranging from Honda, Toyota, Rover, Ford, etc. and it works perfectly well.
Also see below a link to the product manual:-

Good luck and Rate this.

The plastic panel simply snaps into place although it is very touchy to remove it by speading the inner tabs outward to remove it. You would need a very thin tool that is harden with a hook on it to proceed with this task so you will not crack this panel

There are two separate problems. The driver door lock sometimes works and sometimes does not when using the remote. The lock always works when using the door button. I can get the door panel off. How do I figure what the problem is after I get into the door? The second problem is how to get the console off to replace the switch that operates the moon roof.
