Question about 2001 Isuzu Trooper
I am changing the cv boot on the car I have got the track rod end is off, undone the bolts to top and bottom ball joint, removed brake caliper but cant seem to get the hub to come off the drive shaft moves about 2 inches but will not come out off hub and I cannot release hub for some reason how do I release it
Undo the ring of allen head bolts in the middle of the wheel, then undo the 3 X head screws on the wheelbearing adjuster ,spin that off and the hub will pull off the shaft with the bearings .
Put fresh grease in the bearings on rebuild and adjust the bearings as per the manual - its a preload figure .
