Hello the code will be the last 4 numbers of the car's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) which would be found in your registration papers or on one of the plates riveted to the body in the engine bay at the firewall.

And if that doesn't work take it to Toyota and they will reset it to default for $40..

Remember you can only enter the code 10 times max.

Good luck

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Camry Sportivo brakes making scraping sound.

Hi there,
when the noise is heard, try putting very slight pressure on the brake pedal and see if the noise goes away. If this is the case then definitely the brakes have to be removed and checked again. But if the noise is still present then it's something else doing that noise ans further investigations needs to be carried oput.
Cheers

Ask a dealer of that brand of radio.
If it was a chevy dealer that installed it, they are supposed to write the code down in the owner's manual.
The code has nothing to do with the car or VIN unless whomever set the code decided to use that.
But they don't have to.
And it does not have to be a chevy dealer that even installed the radio.
You can take it to any dealer of that brand of radio, and have it set to a new code that they can tell you.

Need the code for mobis hm 3700

I have a Kia Carnival 2005 KVII. I had to contact Kia to get the radio code and give the vin number. Note # you will only get 3 attempts.
My Kia has a Mobis HM3700 and the Code I was given is 1812.

To insert code:
1 look at the front of the Radio you will see a screen, and at the bottom of the Right hand side is a set of channel select buttons.

they look like this
1 2 3
4 5 6

Each button from button number 1 to number 4 will cycle through from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, to 0 each time you press these buttons you will change the number on the screen.

When you have the numbers shown below

Button numbers 1 2 3 4
Numbers showing 1 8 1 2

Than press Number 5 button to accept

Contact the manufacturer of the radio if it is not a Toyota radio. If it is, you will have to visit a deale if the VIN digits don't work.

Need Toyota radio security code

Oribeeboy is spot on for a 100 series Landcruiser - last 3 VIN numbers.
Let's say the last 3 VIN Nos were 264
Turn the ignition key so that the radio displays "SEC"
then: press "TUNE"and press No1 button on the radio at same time
then: press No1 button 2 times
then: press No2 button 6 times
then press No3 button 4 times
Finally hold the "SCAN" button to confirm the code. The radio will then turn itself off. You can then turn it on in the normal way.
(Hopefully!)

The only way to unlock the radio is by using a scan tool. The scan tool sends the appropriate diagnostic message (relearn VIN) to reset the radio. Using a scan tool, select the radio VIN relearn procedure from the module replacement screen in Vehicle Control Systems
