Hi

Is the ignition live wire connected to the tv tuner?

If the tv tuner is hooked up to the ignition to only work when the car is running then once you turn it off it will lose power and forget anything, like presets. Most likely you will need to run a wire to the tv tuner from the stereo, they are normally a yellow wire with an inline fuse from the back of the car stereo this gives a constant feed for power and thus ensures you tv tuner will remember you presets the next time you get in the car. It works in the same way as your car radio remembers your favorite radio channels, without this you will get the fault your having. Especially if the TV tuner was fitted after market.

Also if it is a factory set up then check the in line fuse, and or fuse box for any blown fuse's the TV tuner could still work if it has 2 power feeds, but without the constant live will not store anything to memory.

This is very common people just wire them to work and often forget the live feed. If you need more info please let me know.

Hope this helps
Regards
Dan

51 plate corsa need to change starter motor, how the hell do you undo the top nut?

normally takes a long extension up and over the top of the starter or one with a u-joint on it for angle changes on most models..try that unless you dont see any real channel for acess..aks the parts store for that particular model.. they will dictate the proceedure forthe car..

I know you can that you can change this by simply hooking up a scan tool for specific year. There are language options accessible for situations like this. Here is a sample of what can be changed using VAG 5052 or equivalent scanners.

My car says xm ready.... but it doesnt work the dealer says i need to buy a tuner from them but it cost to much.... i was wondering is there a different tuner that is compatible with my suzuki 09 SX4 sport

There might be one if you go to a car stero store. I install the Suzuki XM tuner. The reason it is expensive, the tuner goes in the back of the car and you run the cable from there to the radio. Don Suzuki man

Change Radio Frequency

Most radios made in American have fixed tuners and do not have a way to change frequency of the radio. If they use the same FM frequencies (88.1-108.0) then all you have to do is do a scan or seek of what is available when you get there or a new radio will be needed. There may be a way to add a EU tuner and have the original radio receive the output of it through a channel in the radio. It's the cheapest way to not have to buy a new NAV/RADIO device. It would work kind of like the hands free devices that are not hardwired do here.
