Check under the seats that there are no items rolling around, like bottles etc, and check the cables that are under the seats, they can make a bad contact, putting on the warning lamp

Recently when driving my 2001 kia rio, i have noticed my air bag light likes to turn on and off? i checked the fuse, under the dash its fine and in there snug, changed it for fun anyways, still the light...

You can do nothing

Only a dealer or repair shop can diagnose the
SRS System. Not just air bag,you have seat belts
& possibly more items

Play with the seat belt retracters & see what happens
after the engine is on & your car is moving

2001 Kia Rio Air Bag light stays on. What can I do to turn it off.

you can remove your instrument cluster and remove the bulb or have the problem solved by hooking it into a diagnostic scanner; this scan may run around 50 - 75 dollars depending upon who scans it; dealerships run higher... this cost does not include repair of the problem

2006 reo passenger air bag light says its off. how do i turn it on?

The passenger air bag will only come on if there is weight in the seat. The manual says 40 lbs, but it is more than that. When my 60 son sits in the front, the air bag stays off. This is a safety mechanism. An air bag can kill a small child, so it automatically turns itself off if there is little or no weight in the seat. Also saves having to have the air bag repacked if you have a wreck with no one in the front passenger seat--a costly repair.
