You can try a skinny magnet and try getting at it threw the vent it's most likely a ink pin, if that does not help try removing the center vent or the driver vent it just snaps out and try to get at it with a magnet, if you can't get it with a magnet you will need a three finger grappling tool to try to grab a hold of it otherwise you will have to remove the center air conditioner duct which is not to hard.

Toyota echo floor heater problems

Check passenger side, under dash, make sure any loose linkage is actually attached to the baffle levers. I had this happen. Passenger accidently kicked the linkage off and suddenly we had no heat. It was seriously cold inside. Mechanic showed me the linkage disconnect on passenger side under the dash right under the glove compartment.

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado. Upon acceleration there is a rattling sound coming from the engine on the passenger side. it also happen when rolling in reverse and the brakes is applied.

it may just be the heat shield on the muffler, they are held on with tack welds that break easily. when the truck is cool crawl under it and look around the muffler and catalytic converters for a loose heat sheild.

When I accelerate, I hear this sound that sounds like something is being poured into the car. I opened the hood to see if there is anything that leaks, but nothing seems to leak from any of the parts under...

You need to check the passenger floor board. What it sound like your talking about is a clogged evaporator drip line. If in fact it is go under the car passenger side. Look for a little tube coming out of the fire wall and try to clear that line. Just a fore waring remember you heard something slushing around so dont leave you head under the line just in case that is the problem.

Where is the heater core and hoses located on a 2002 jeep liberty?

The heater core is located on the passengers side of the vehicle inside the air box. Dash removal is necessary to replace the heater core. You should see two rubber lines going into the firewall around the upper corner on the passengers side.

Dash lights are shorting out on the right side and headlights seem to be doing the same thing. Is there something that I can try to do to fix the problem instead of taking it in to a shop?

Check the ground on the battery for corrosion, also, there may be a separate ground for items on the passenger side of the vehicle somewhere behind the dash.

My 07 grand vitari is leaking water in passenger side from dash foot area please advise .thanks

Easy one this, Remove the footwell carpet (Just un-pin it from the poppers and roll it up best you can, hold with tape if needed, you just need to get it clear of the footwell) Then dry the area with a towel. Get some kids waterbased paint (orange is good, shows up better) and coat the entire area (Dont worry it comes off with a wet rag). Let it dry then get a hose and go crazy! hose off the outside area, underneath, anywhere the leak is lightely to originate. Any leak inside the vehicle can be traced via the darkened now wet orange paint! simples!

If its the passenger footwell its almost always from the windscreen seal, Older Vits had a big rubber plug in the floor pan, these sometimes came loose!

If you do narrow it down to the windscreen, a word of caution. Dont try to simply spread mastic over the original seal! the leak will be from underneath this so applying anything on top is just a waste of time! The Guys at autoglass ect replace windscreen seals for a hobby. Next time you see a van driving around have a word with the driver. Most wont refuse a cheeky twenty quid for five mins work! Thats how I got mine fixed!

Passenger window is off track

Cars whether foreign or domestic are all basic in nature, the problem is most likely a broken window regulator or something in the door became loose.

Replacing heater core in 2000 GMC sonoma. Dash is

Usually the whole hvac box has to come out of the vehicle to replace the heater core. Once the box is out it can be opened and the heater core removed. Be careful with all the vent doors and actuators, make note of how everything came apart. The last thing you want to do is have to remove the dash and box because something wasn't on just right. Good luck.

2004 ford f150 XLT the driver side window will roll down, but it won't roll up. What's wrong?

the regulator possibly is out, I had a similar experience on my vehicle. part cost at the dealer is around 130 dollars, need to remove the door panel. change out the power window regulator, and re-assemble. this is something that is common on the new F 150 trucks, eventually you will need to replace the passenger side as well.Good luck. I hope this helps.
