Here, just follow this steps:

1. Locate the tail light on the rear of your vehicle. They are located on each corner and light up when you apply your brakes or turn signal.

2. If applicable, remove any mounting screws on the outside of the tail light.

3.
Open the trunk of your vehicle and locate the back of the tail light.

4.
Remove the socket and bulb from the back of the tail light by turning and pulling.

5.
Remove the tail light mounting screws or nuts.

6.
Push the tail light out from behind.

How can I replace my rear tailight on my 2003 Thunderbird?

you should be able to remove the taillight lens. open your trunk, you may have to pull back the carpet covering the taillight retainer nuts. There should be 3 or 4 retainer nuts, these will either be a plastic wing nut style,or metal nut. remove all of them and gently pull on the lens,it should come out with very little resistance.the bulb fixtures will generally turn counterclockwise. replace burnt bulbs and replace the lens. hope this helps. Suggest changing the clip fastener, or failing that, find some adaptation.

How to change tail light bulb on 1999 buick lasabre

Remove cover from rear of trunk to access nuts. Remove tailight all 4 nuts. Pull tailight out. You will see the bulb sockets behind the tail light assembly. Turn counter clockwise to remove socket. Install same way.

Brake & Turn signals do not work when headlights are on

The problem is what they call the printed circuit in the tail light. Remove the twist off light bulb connector. You will see the contacts inside and that the plastic is warped. You can purchase the entire fixture for about $350 if you replace it yourself. A dealer will charge about $450 per tail light fixture. Chrysler won't admit they have a problem that they should have issued a recall for. The problem is that if your stoplights are out, you may be involved in a rear end collision. Chrysler doesn't care. What I did was purchase a right angle tailight bulb holder and standard #1197 stoplight bulbs from advance auto supply. You have to trim the existing socket a little and splice the wires for the new light socket, but it beats paying $900 for replacing the two fixtures. I fixed mine about a year ago and haven't had any problems.

Changing tailight bulb

First open the rear hatch. Look just inside the door next to the rear lens assembly. There should be 2 screws that need to be removed. This should loosen up the assembly. Next gently pull the assembly back and out to you.Do not pull to hard or to far, you are still connected with wire. Next, squeeze the retainer and twist the bulb assembly ccw. You are there. Reverse it to put it back. Good luck.
