Lights on warning alert buzzer has stopped on my VW polo 1999 1.4cl. I have checked all fuses and all are ok. Do you think i need to replace the sensor button by the driver door or find the buzzer itself?

It is very rare for that buzzer to become defective. You should suspect the switch at the door. I'm assuming at this point, you can see the switch. If so, remove the switch and check to see to see if you get an Ohm reading between one connector and the other. You need a volt meter to do this. Press the switch manually in and out, it may be stuck in a closed position.

MY VW POLO WONT STOP FLASHING HAZARD LIGHTS EVEN IF THE ENGINE IS OFF.THE DRIVERS DOOR IS NOT LOCKING BY ITSELF I HAVE TO DO IT MANUALLY

1. There are a couple of causes for hazards lights so you need to take the car to a ,mechanic to isolate the problem. In the meantime locate the plug in fuse for the Hazard lights and remove it. Normally there is a discrete fuse just for these lights but check your owners manual which will also show you the fuse location.

2. Drivers door locking system. There is a fault with the lock actuator located in the door and it will probably need to be replaced after examination. The door trim has to be removed to access the mechanism. It needs to be checked in position to see if it is only sticking or needs replacing.

My air con ,rear wiper and fog lights have stopped working on a vw polo 2.0 hatch 2005

Consult your Car Owner manual to locate where the Fuse Box is located: Check the appropriate fuse(s) for the appliances in your car that are not working - I suspect that the AirCon, RearWiper and Fog lights are sharing the same fuse as it would be extremely unusual to have 3 separates fuses blown at the same time. ps. The Polo usually has some spare fuses in/near the Fuse Box.

If its the electronic unit, check the main fuses near the battery, also check the wiring connectors at the powersteering pump for loose or corroded plugs. If alls ok,you will need a diagnostic machine to read out what trouble codes are in the units memory.good luck.

Red this article:

Eventhough the level is right, the fluid might need replacing (every 3~5 years and 50.000-100.000 miles).

You can read how to recognize bad/old fluid here: http://www.hondaclub.com/forum/articles/1492-power-steering-fluid-lifeline-your-steering-system.html
