Get on Google and google the car's make and or model with radio instructions or manual and something should pop up with that criteria just depends on how you word it on there.
You can download the manual for free on google when you find what you need then just print it out or write it down. Really easy to do

Turn off my radio off in my car keeps turning back on after a while

Car is lonely when your gone and needs some tunes! No really, very weird problem. Radio must have a remote control module, and either you have lost the remote in a seat which is pushing the button down, or the internal relay for remote action has failed. Easy fix is to find the hot wire for radio and install a manual switch to turn it off. (Or, look for your friend with the remote who is messing with you.

I HAVE 97 MITSUBISHI DIAMONTE AND FEW DAYS AGO I DIDN'T CLOSE PASSAGER SIDE DOOR ALL THE WAY AND NEXT MORNING I FOUND OUT MY BATTER WERE DEAD. AFTER RECHARGED BATTRERY, EVERYTHINGS WORKING AS NORMAL EXCEPT...

Many radios have theft protection that require a code once power is lost. Look in the owner's manual, as it should be written down by whomever installed it.
Otherwise anyone selling that brand of radio can just reset the code to a new one, and tell you the new code.

Radio won't turn on asking for a code

Hello! When you purchased your Mercedes a card (similar to a bank card), which has the radio code stamped on, should have accompanied your owners manual. If not visit your dealership and they can give you the code. Turn on the radio, punch in the code, and radio will come on. Any time your battery is disconnected, when you power back up the radio code must be re-entered.

Need codes for stereo in order to turn on radio

Some Honda radios will give you their serial number by turning key to on position then push 1 and 6 button at the same time then turn on radio. It should display the radio serial number. You will need to give that number to a Honda dealer service advisor to search for the radio code. Or let the dealer do it for you. Sometimes people will put the number in the glove box door or operators manual because everytime Batt. power is lost or disconnected, you have to enter the code to get the radio and nav to work.

Need to reset the radio. It says wait.

You need to recover the radio's serial number to decode the 4 digit radar key. The full process and decoder is available here: Porsche Boxster: Online Lost Radio Code Recovery Tool

Radio not working

If you have recently changed the battery or lost power for any reason your radio may require an anti theft code, check your manual to see if this even applies to your vehicle. You may be able to find code behind the glove box in some cases. Or look up your vehicle online to see if any codes are posted. If the clock is working you have power.
