2008 dodge grandcaravan selenoid part

Assuming the battery and it's connections are okay, it sounds as though you have a bad solenoid in the starter. I replaced my starter, but I think perhaps you could get a solenoid rebuild kit from an auto parts store. When I pulled my old starter apart, it was obvious where the problem was. I hope this answers your question.

2004 chevy impala, recently my battery was dead after work. nothing left on. got jumped and got to store where battery was checked and said good. next morning battery dead. charged and went to another...

alternator is probably bad. the output with engine running should be 13 to 15 volts. you can check this with a volt meter by touching the leads to the battery with car running. you need the reading to be 13 to 15 volts

Car wont start

I dont know what kind of car you have, but just guessing, you should check the starter, starter solenoid, and some models have starter solenoid on the starter and on the inner fender of the car on the same side as the starter. On fords the wire on the side of the upper solenoid can come off and it wont start. Your local parts store can check the starter if you take it off and tell you if it is bad. Another thing to check if this is a chevy, is the wire on the starter solenoid, it may have broke off or pulled loose. I hope these suggestions help lead you to the problem.

Hello, hope you may have an answer for me. My wife owns a 2003 Chevy Cavalier, Automatic. It was running good. But this morning she went to start it and it will not start! Battery has juice, power is...

It sounds like you hit the nail right on the head. If your battery has a good charge then the problem is either your starter or your solenoid. However you cant really replace just the solenoid now a days because they started making the starter and solenoid all as one piece quite a while back. If you replace the starter it should solve your problem. I hope this helps you out.

When i turn the key nothing happens, it wont even turn over. starter, alternator, battery, fuel injectors and wiring, coil pack are all new. When i went to autozone they said starter solenoid. do i need...

When you go to the parts store they will give you the correct solenoid. Make sure it matches the one you take off. You're lucky because Ford solenoids are not part of the started. Also, to verify that, you can start the truck by by-passing the starter solenoid and engage the starter directly using a jumper cable.

Detailed instructions to by pass the starter solenoid is located here.

What will cause the starter in a 1984 chevy truck to keep grinding and braking the starter

If the teeth on the flywheel are broke it needs replaced if not it sounds like it's shimed wrong. Mount the starter turn your ignition on and see how it lines up it maybe to tight or too lose if so shim so the teeth almost center on each other. Most starters come with shims or you can get them at any parts store. Hope this helps some.
