I am not going to answer that, if u remove them and someone is killed or injured because of it I would be as much at fault as you, this is a really lame brained not thought through idea, sorry just being honest and responsible here.

The side curtain airbags on your MINI is a long piece that goes fro end to end on your vehicle. The dealership will NOT remove any safety equipment installed by the factory. I am guessing that your question is in regards to a child's safety in the rear of the vehicle. The airbags are designed to only extend down to cover the windows, and to stop a passengers head form striking anything that is entering your vehicle i.e.bumber/hood of another vehicle. There are no rear seat airbags in your vehicle.

My mini convertible roof leaks down the side just behind the back window, will it be covered under the warranty?

If the leak has been caused by a manufacturers defect and not by unusual weather conditions or damage from an accident, sharp object, mad ex, etc., yes , it should be something that Mini should fix at no charge.

2002 mini cooper non turbo. Replaced head gasket, cranks good, fuel pump turns on, no codes on scanner. No spark at plugs, all fuses good. Was in a light wreck at some point and airbags deployed. ...

No spark means that it has a problem in the HT coil that converts 12 volts to 12000 - 15000 volts to create spark. Have you run it long distances? Like 50 or more miles? Does it stop or stutter?

Remove seats with side airbags

Any time you are doing anything with the saftey restraint system, you must disconnect the battery for saftey. Before you do this, make sure you have any radio codes you may need so you can reset the radio.

After changing the front seats in a bmw mini cooper, the red air bag light remains permenantly on.....how do i turn it off?

Hi, BMWs have a history of showing unnecessary light alerts on the dashboard ...especially if they have outlived their roadlife. You need to check is there is any opening in your airbag windows...if none, simply ignore it....it will turn off itself with time.
cheers

Remove front seats to clean carpet

there are four (torx) T-40 screws on the four corners of the seat rails. Then disconnect the connectors under the seat and the seats can be removed.(Make sure that the key is off and out of the car before disconnecting the connectors under the seats.) If the key is turned on when a seat is disconnected then the airbag light will be illuminated and the airbags on that seat or both seats can be deactivated.

2000 Chevrolet Malibu LS airbag problems

The passenger side airbag is a lot easier then driver side. Take the glove box out and you will see two 10mm bolts holding it in place. When you open the passenger side front door, remove the panel on the side of the dash and you will see yellow connectors. The 1 closest to the front is attached to the air bag, it is clipped into the frame. Just pull it loose and take it out and your done. For the Driver side, it takes a skinny T27 to remove the two star bolts, then just disconnect the horn red clip and ground and install new airbag. The module is located under the passenger seat, underneath the carpet. Kinda stupid but thats where its at. You also need to replace the front impact sensor located behind the grille on the back side of the metal bar to each side. Follow the hood latch down. Also just to make sure, you know to disconnect the battery before you do all this. You don't want new airbags to accidentally deploy.
