The brakes need some sort of bleeding. See a brake system expert at the garage.

Check engine compression and compare. then test running engine compression most engines have about 130-170 cranking compression and about 90-110 running compression. OR bring that cylinder to its Top Dead Center compression stroke apply air to the cylinder and check to see where the air is going open throttle plate bad intake valve, from exhaust pipe bad exhaust valve, from oil cap piston rings.

Charging problem on 1996 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel

I had the same problem on a 94 dodge with the cummins. It seems the crank sensor that reads from a notch on the harmonic balancer was the problem Without this sensor reading that the engine is running the alternator wont charge. Possibly the same problem with yours

Just pt front brakes on 2001 dodge ram dash light cama on

it may be your rear wheel speed sensor, located on top of your rear differential. if your speedometer doesn't work until you hit about 20 mph and you don't feel any resistance from the brakes then that is a good bet. it cost about 40 bucks at the parts store and takes about 5 minutes to change. and if it is that then its probably just coincidence that it went out after a brake job. my sister had hers go out on her 99 ram and like a week later mine went out. changed that and its been fine since.

After Making a left turn, no brake pedal

if you are not loosing brake fluid, I would guess that the master cyl. is going. If you are lossing liquid, check the wheel brake cyl.

after you fix the problem, please post, I'd like to know what you came up with

04 dodge ram 1500 HEMI's new brake pads won't fit

what you need to do is line clamp brake hose so you dont push dirty brake fluid back into your system..(you can use a pair of needle nose visegrips if you dont own an actual line clamp) loosen bleeder at this point, remove caliper from attatching bracket, with old pad still installed next to piston use a big C-clamp to compress piston, just make sure clamp is centered and compress slowly allowing brake fluid to escape through loosened bleeder... once compressed tighten bleeder and install caliper and pads remove lineclamp....******NOTE******* no need to bleed the system cause of lineclamp procedure... Make sure upon reassembly you use plenty of brake lube on all sliding caliper parts...Good Luck

1995 DODGE RAM B1500 NO START

You need to use a LED type test light for the injectors or a Bosch style Noid light for the injector. To test the cam/crank sensor signal you either need a scanner to read them or a lab scope to show you a signal. The pickup plate in the dist handles the injector timing, the crank sensor provides a RPM signal. They both feed the computer information for ignition timing. Good fuel pressure, injector activity(Noid), and good spark out of the coil. The coil is what I replace the most of.
