Over heating , antifreeze leeking from that water

Hello,

If your water pump is leaking from the water pump for sure that is causing your over heating problem. I am sure that most likely the seal is gone. There is a main seal in the pump, and those are normally the first to go, and you are better off replacing the whole pump, that trying to fix it. Once your water pump is replaced , the over heating problem should be fixed. If pump is leaking it does not have the pressure provided to have the antifreeze and water to flow correctly through engine block and radiator.

Thanks Mike

Cars over heating leeking coolent for the bottom and not sucking in form the resivor and not leaking form hoses

Change the thermostat. Follow upper radiator hose to where it meets the thermostat housing on the engine. Remove the 2 or 3 bolts that hold on the housing, then replace the thermostat and seal and put housing back on. With cap still off, vehicle running and warm, then fill up the coolant system. Make sure there is not air pockets by burping the hose when adding the fluid.

Over heating

If it's leaking fluid around the water pump you have to replace the water pump. They do not last forever. The reason it's overheating is because you have losted fluid. Do not operate without filling the radiator back to normal. You can destroy the engine by overheating and warping the header !
