First check fuses ,and check if you have sufficient freeon because that can cause the cluth not to ingage.

99 chrysler lhs air compressor won't work

unplug the low pressure switch in the air conditioner line near the dryer with air switched on , jump the connector with a short piece of wire to see if the compressor clutch engages. If it does your pressure switch is bad. If the pressure switch is good then there is a fuse near the compressor somewhere that may be blown. If it blows new fuse your clutch is bad.

I dont think my fan is working

there is a fuse for every load on the car, or car will catch fire. sooner or later......
the other fact is , many fuses are shared. some have 15 loads. (park)
think fan is working, ?
which one.?
1: cab heater
2: A/C condenser fan (extreme front of car)
3: the RAD fans, (see behind RAD)

tell fan? and I can tell which fuse.
the glove box guide , has a fuse page. lost that?

my guess, ? is the fan is OUT side the drivers CAB
"think" tell me its fan 2 or 3 above.
the tests for those fans is in the FSM.

the A/C fan turns on if A/C or defrost is selected. unless its
N.Pole weather. (it has logic that cuts this fan , under some wild conditions (unstated by you) what country? what latitude?.

the RAD fan, comes on , if you. (location not stated so, wild guess...)
1: drive 20miles
2: park and idle
3: as coolant passes 200F, near 230F, the rad fans come on
this is because the RAD is near useless , parked. (no air flow)

The FSM covers these tests.
or alldata.com

RAD = engine coolant Radiator.

My 95 sunfire air condition will not blow air out the air condition vents.just put new heater core in vehicle.it was working before.

You have pulled loose a vacuum line somewhere during the install.. its "defaulting" to heating mode.

I have a 1990 Ford E350 van. I replaced the head light switch, high/low beam switch. No headlights. Is there a relay somewhere? Is there a fuseable link somewhere?

YEP FUSE LINK COULD BE THE PROBLEM LOOK FOR A 18 GAUGE WIRE FUSE LINK LOCATED NEAR THE AIR CONDITIONING CASE. THIS FUSE LINK CONTROL POWER TO HEAD LIGHT SWITCH.

Air conditioning works when car first starts up (Volvo s40) then stops cooling after a while (usually when I am stopped in traffic) -- then if I turn it off and back on after a few minutes it works again....

It sounds like your cooling fans are not working.Need to check the cooling fan fuses, and the cooling fan relays. There is also a high side switch mounted somewhere on the high side of the ac system that cuts the fans on,or kicks them up on high speed when the ac system gets to high on the high side of the system. This switch may also cut the compressor off.I would check the fuses and relays for these fans first, this is more likely the problem. Is the car running normal temperature? If not the fans may not be running at all.Have them checked. The fan or fans may be bad them selfs. If I can be any more help, let me know.>>roniecon@gmail.com

AIR CONDITIONER WILL NOT COOL WHEN IDLED

Typical problem of R-134 freon. It just doesn't perform well at idle, though hardware changes over the years have improved performance in later models.

However, be sure to cover the bases. Check freon charge with gauge set. Don't guess. Make sure the pressures are correct and that cooling fan is functional and nothing restricting air flow at condenser & radiator. High pressure from car wash wands can fold-over the cooling fins at radiator thus restricting air flow. I suspect all this is good but you should make certain to remove any doubt.

Wiring cut when my stereo was stolen now nothing works.

Could have crossed wires and blown the fuses. try isolating and electrical taping the wires and then go through your fuses and replace the blown ones.

Air suspension light keeps coming on i change the fuses which worked for a while but now it just burns them out as fast i put them in, I tried changing the relay and that did not work.

interesting. Do you hear your compressor running like a refrigerator in July? Typically when the suspension is blowing fuses it has to do with the compressor being over worked by a leak somewhere in the air system. (usually in the air spring or the air lines) There are conversion kits available that make the fix to this inexpensive and permanent. http://www.strutmasters.com offers a high quality kit without cutting corners to cut costs and offer a lifetime warranty on all conversion kits. I hope this helps!!
