Oldsmobile intrigue oil light reset how to m?

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Immediately after Step 1 press and release the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds. If the CHANGE ENG OIL light flashes, the system is resetting.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

The filter is in the oil pan. you may need a special tool to remove it. Cast aluminum cover. The new filter should come with a new seal.

How does the oil filter come off of an 2002 Intrigue? what kind of tools do I need ?

ok it twists off you can use a oil filter wrench if you cant do it by hand or you can take a screw driver and punch it through the oil filter and turn it to the left that way but that gets a little messy but remember before you put a new one on lube the gasket on the new filter you can use vasalene or a little of your old oil that way when you put the new one on tight it wont tear the gaskit.
