Question about 1993 Chevrolet K1500
Most of the displays have lightbulbs in the back of the unit which means you have to pull the heater control out of the dash to fix this.As far as it staying on the floor heat selection,two posibilities and there are test procedures to determine which.It may be the control itself or there is a electric motor that changes the modes(where it blows out)down under the dash on the heater box that moves a door to change the mode.It is called a mode door motor and is the most likely culprit.Let me know if this helps.
