Y 1988 charade acts like the starter is loose and i dont know where to locate it ineed a diagram

First focus on the battery is it secure to the posts? Bad connection
second it sounds like the silonoid on the starter is not kicking out the gear to the flywheel to turn the engine over. To that effect you could have to replace the entire starter.

No crank on an 88 chevy s10 blazer. Good battery and lots of juice. No noise from starter. No click or clunk from starter or solinoid.

need to check the s wire on the starter solinoid for current when you turn your key to start,if the test light come on, and you have current to the large wire on the solioid you starter is bad, but of course you have to have enough current from the battery, I hope this helps you

Most are located near the battery. You may have a stud under hood with several on it. Also may have some on the "front of the starter"
