Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hello, I have an 09 CRV. The last couple of months I have noticed that before the engine is warmed up and I start accelerating there is a bit of a high pitch wine coming from the car and it seems to shift a little bit rougher than usual. Once the engine warms up the noise is gone. My friend says that noise is normal while the oil drops to the pistons. Does this sound right or is something wrong?
Does the noise come from the engine or transmission, Pull the dipstick tube from the transmission when it is warm and smell it for a burnt smell.Check oil dipstick for any water or white paste.
