Hello, thanks for your help. I read some other posts and ended up disconnecting and reconnecting it to the battery which worked. This appears to be a common fault when the weather gets cold. Thats French cars for you i suppose!

if you do not have any power to radio ? then your radio/cd ///.player may have a fuse fitted in the rear of set it is a smaller version of the actual cars 2flat pin fuses in fuse box and is noemally red colour indicating 10 amp other than this ? if radio is after market ? there may be an in line fuse on the power supply to radio tucked under dash on wire power supply from fuse panel to actual radio ?

Fuel cap with not open on my ren clio 1.4 57 plate (2007) and there does not seem to be a manual override ! can anyone help Christmas time .....Need my car :(

First of all, supposedly there is a little emergency release behind a flap of carpet in the boot behind the gas cap. On the other hand, you should probably check all your fuses for a more permanent solution.

HI, my renault clio radio and clock display are dead

Hi All, the very same thing happened to me. Cold weather broke my radio and the display screen stayed on with the time and temperature but the radio wouldn't work. I rang Renault & they said I need to come in an get a new radio but I put it off. In the end the problem started affecting my battery and the car wouldn't start. But then when I jump started it, it also started the radio again perfectly. Problem solved!
Hope this helps. Good luck!

A moisture might have caused a short in the radio to cause this. Get the radio removed by a technician and get it dried and then reinstall
