Question about 1996 Lincoln Town Car
The airflow is directed by a series of doors in the ductwork that open and close in order to deliver air to the vents specified by the operator. The doors are operated by vacuum. When the doors do not work properly, the most common problem is a vacuum leak, although it could be caused by a bad actuator...(the device that the vacuum operates). Good Luck!
