The radio wont work since the cold weather, it stopped working just before the snow and then came on on its own and flattened the battery. Now it has stopped working again

Hi Check your battery connections, mainly the earth lead ensure it has a good contact to the car body, also the radio has a plug on the rear of it, this may have worked itself loose, worth a look if you can get the radio out.

Hope this helps

Could my battery be frozen? Do I need a new battery?

Your battery is not frozen. In cold weather, a weak battery--one that needs to be replaced--may not work. The cold makes an already weak battery even weaker.

2010 Tacoma wont start. It doesn't even click. Radio works windows dont work. door locks dont work. IS this an Anti Theft problem because the battery seems to be ok.

I suspect that the problem will be at the battery. either dirty or loose terminals ( should be shiny clean at posts and terminals) or a faulty battery. have a load test done to determine battery condition as batteries that work ok in warm weather fail in cold weather.

I had the same problem for years until I cleaned the throttle body, Complete instructions can be found here http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/517. It's easy and it worked for me. Good luck.

1992 GMC Sierra Won't turn over

You either need to charge the battery, or you've got a bad battery. It's easy to power lights and radios, but turning an engine over, especially in cold weather, takes a lot of cold cranking amps (in other words, a fully charged and good battery.).

Ford thunderbird wont start in Cold weather

change distributor cap first and see how it goes could have a crack in it.Failing which you need to test the ignition module when its cold as sometimes a component will break down and not work when its cold ,this is very much a hands on type job so if dist cap doesnt cure it call a mobile mechanic
