Your vehicle is equipt with a self leveling system that uses shocks wound with very heavy airbags and feedlines to supply the pressure from a mechanical pump under the hood. Often one of these lines may crack or break, if that is the case than the repair is pretty much painless. However, if the airbag itself breaks or cracks it can cost upwards of 1000.00 UD per unit to repair. Good luck, Dana

2006 mercedes benz cls500 lowers to the ground after sitting for a few hours. I hear air coming from the driver's side rear after parking and turning the car off.

Your car has an air ride system. This means that you have an air bag at every wheel. When you start your car a system compressor starts to work and blows up each air bag evenly for a smooth ride. The noise you hear is from the rear air bag. You most likely need to replace the air bag. I will say to you shop around for best price, since this job could get expensive. Good Luck Friend.

My 2001 Ford Expedition looses air in the rear air bags after i cut it off. I don't hear any air leaks or anything! What can be the problem?

the air bags release air after it sits. The rear raises back up after starting engine, if you add weight, it raises up even more to compensate for level suspension. It should be fine unless it's sitting almost on thr ground, but it does release air and sit lower.

1995 Taurus will not restart after sitting 5 minutes. After sitting for approximately an additional hour will restart.

With the spark dying it sounds like electric problems. Your coil can be failing when it builds up heat sitting. The fan air and air from driving can keep the coil cool but then it acts like a heat sink when the engine sits.
The battery can also play out in heat, have it tested. Finally the ground wires could be dirty. The motor has more compression when hot. This time of year cold oil is not a factor on cold starts, so you do not have problems on the initial start. The starter ground seems okay, but the chassis ground for the ignition could be corroded.
