You need to verify, when it doesn't start, what is missing, fuel or spark.
It is difficult to tell if the problem goes away. See if you can get a spark tester, and try it while it will start and run to see what it should do, then when it won't start, hook it up and see what changes.

I have a Nissan 2002 maxima it won't start all lights are on battery is fine alternator is fine can you tell me what's the problem

You have to start somewhere. See if the engine is still getting gas and spark. Do you hear the fuel pump turn on for 2 seconds when you turn the key to on, not start? It should turn on to prime the fuel line. If unsure, use some starting fluid, a shot or two into the air intake, and then crank the engine. If it rumbles a bit and now tries to start, then you know was a fueling problem. Have the fuel pump checked or replaced.
If the fluid makes no difference, see if you still have spark on one of the spark plug wires. If no spark, the ignition system must be diagnosed (ignition coils, ignition control module, ecu, crank and cam position sensors.)

1983 Capri RS WONT START it is getting spark to the plugs and fuel turns over fine just wont start

Points or electronic ignition? Corroborator, or fuel injection? Was the car sitting idol for a long period of time, say, 6 months to more than 1 year? With a car that old, I would start with replacing spark plug and ignition wiring. Have you checked the spark plugs? Make sure they're cleaned and gaped. If corroded, replace them.

I am trying to get my blazer running and i am having a few problems. first it contiuously cranks but wont turn over. when i bought it a few months ago i had no problem starting it. also the front bushings...

when any car cranks but not start up do that
check the spak wire at first unplug one of them get closer to metal part of engine if it shows sparks then they are ok the wires but the wires my be sparking put the spark plugs not generate spark or the coil (witch that thing multiplicate the current to allow a powerful spark ) is bad
but if you see spark probably the coil is working
so go to spark plugs get out one of them take a look if the spark is turned to be black or there is oil soaking it then replace all 8 sparks then try to turn the blazer on
almost (but more complex) it is a fuel circuit problem
and may be related to electric problem that affects the electrical fuel pump due to bad (fuel pump relay and/or bad fuse ) check them
but first you want to check if the fuel pump is working or not to check that open hood unplug the fuel line (hose) that comes from fuel tank through car`s floor into the fuel injection system and between them some were fuel filter so ... unplug that hose tell a friend to make a very quick one ignition key turn if the hose is squirting fuel then your pump is ok and working
ok if the pump is fine and electrics are as well fine ???? i`m getting confused now don`t you?
here we will have to guess rather than follow procedure ?!!!!
probably the crank sensor (or vhcihl speed sensor )
probably the injectors are dead got old dripping the fuel rather than spraying them make the system just nonfunctional at all
read understand start with what you think it is the simplest for you
with good luck good guessing you will fix it
have a good luck sir.

Engine turns over but won't start. plugs and wires changed

A diagnostic check of the vehicle will pinpoint your no starting problem, but if that isn't an option for you and you want to do the work yourself, follow these step's:
Check for spark WHILE TRYING TO CRANK THE ENGINE. If no spark is present, check to see if there is power coming from the switch during cranking. If you have spark, check to see if you are getting fuel. If you aren't getting fuel, check your fuel filter(it coud be clogged) and check ALL fuse's. If you aren't getting spark AND fuel, then check the crank sensor as it is the controller for spark and fuel delivery.

Ok i have a 1999 hyundai accent wont start changed fuel pump and it started ran very bad very! turned it off wouldnt start back up again checked spark plugs no spark and no power going to fuel pump we are...

Changing the pump doesn't affect the spark so lets start a that the beginning?? Why was the pump replaced and was it running fine before changing the pump? Also plugs could be fouled as well but if it was working fine before the fuel pump it will be fine afterwards if getting gas and the fuel pump was the problem., Also how did you verify no spark??

Car runs but as soon as I turn it off it doesnt turn back on.

Hello, when you have this sort of problem, what you have to do is determine if it is fuel or ignition related. It could be either or both. If you have a carburetor, you can check to see if the accelerator pump is squirting fuel into the carb body when you actuate the throttle. This signifies that the bowl is full and fuel is getting to the carb. If its not, you know its a fuel problem (stuck float, needle valve, bad fuel pump, etc). Sometimes intermittent fuel pump problems occur due to an electrical short in the fuel line to the pump in the tank (for fuel injected models). On carb equipped models the fuel pump runs off of the cam on the back top side of the engine. You could put a fuel pressure guage on it to see if you are getting the proper 33.6 psi. If not, that would indicate an underperforming fuel pump.
On the Festivas, its common that the wire going to the distributor becomes frayed or insulation cracked and it can cause intermittent spark problems. This is why when the car won't start, you need to check immediately if there is good spark or not with a spark tester. If spark is good, check the fuel pressure when cranking. Another thing you can do is spray 'starting fluid' in the carb or intake to see if that makes the car start or try to fire. If it does, you will know that you have found the problem and its fuel related.

Onece in a while turn over wont fire. runs great other wise

your injector or fuel pump may be going out, next time when you check the issue, check your distubutor again and making sure you getting sparks, if you do have sparks than it has to be your fuel problems.

My 94 camry was working fine yesterday. This morning i tried to start it, it wouldn't start. The batteries are fine. it makes the turning noise it supposed to right before it starts...won't start though....

Your vehicle needs two things to start, gas and a spark. To check to see if its getting gas just turn the key to the on postion(not start), next go to the gas door open it and take the cap off, put ur ear to the  hole and listen by a humming noise, if u hear it ur fuel pump is working properly. Next check to see if all your spark plug caps are on and they connect firmly to your distributor cap. If they all are then most likely you arent getting a spark in your plug and you need to replace the plugs or check for shortages in wiring.

My 04 bmw ignition doest start

If it doesnot crank at all look for starter/starter relay/starter relay fuse. Most probably wiring coming to starter is loose, try to tighten it more (push towards starter). Also I would check antiteft system (if it is provided for your car) as some BMW have immobilizers.
If it cranks no start look for spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, coolant temperature sensor, O2 sensor, fueling system (fuel pump cutoof switch, fule pump relay, fuel filter).
Please kindly let me know if you need more information, or kindly provide me with more details to assist you better
Good Luck
