Under the steering column there is a connector with 10 or 12 wires in it. The wire terminals can burn and loose connection at that point. Bypass the connector, Its the best way to remedy the problem.

Look in the owners manual. Most like under hood on top of fire wall fuse and high amp. Relays under cover.

Replacing headlight bulb in saab 9-7x

Note: Sometimes if you pull the clip UP too far it catches on the bottom of the knob in back and the headlight won't come out. Just wiggle, or push the clip down like 1/32 of an inch or so and it will let go of the headlight assembly.

How do i get to the headlight

All you need to do is pop the hood and on the back of the headlight is a round ring with the wires going through it twist that and the whole bulb and all comes out. replace and twist the ring back into place.

IM ALWAYS BLOWING HEADLIGHTS EVERY YEAR ABOUT TWO TIMES IM CHANGING THE BULBS

This is quite often due to battery amps being low or jump starting, amp, watts and volts are all interelated so 55 watts means 13volts/55wats = 4.2amps battery low 11v/55watts=5amps pop!

The gears that drive the light to open are worn out, you will need to replace the head light motor assembly, this is common isuue with pop up motorized headlights.
