SOURCE: parking lights nissan 2002 xterra

Open the back lift door. Inside next to the lights there are screws that need to be removed before you can get the whole parking light off. After you get the screws out, you will have to force the whole plastic light cover to get to the burn out light. Once you get the whole light out, replace the bulb and follow the process in reverse.

SOURCE: My 1997 Nissan pickup's horn doesn't work. Changed

try supplying power to the horn with a jumper wire from the battery. If the horn still does not work the horn is bad.

If the horn works you'll need to take the plastic covers off of the steering column and remove the airbag. You'll want to check continuity between the light green/black wire on the back side of the clock spring and the horn switch. If there is no continuity you need a clock spring. If there is continuity than the horn switch is bad.

2005 nissan xterra shuts off while driving

Check the ECM relay. Nissan has a recall for that relay, for that year. You can swith the relay with your defogger relay which should be next to it. The relay box is located under the hood on the passenger side. Hope this helps. Here's a re call link.http://www.thenewx.org/forum/showthread.php?t=39850

Have replaced horn relay and the horn still doesnt work...any suggestions

Did u try to directly connect the (+) terminal of ur horn to (+) terminal of ur battery just to verify the horn is working?

Check also the HORN PAD on ur steering wheel, it might have been disconnected, the terminal is (-)ground activated switch, just ground it and horn should work!

Check on that first!

We are installing a battery in our 2000 xterra the horn starts to honk. How do we install without the horn honking

This looks like you have a alarm problem, take the keys out and replace battery,if it starts honking press alarm off.If this don't work you have to find a Nissan workshop to calibrate the alarm and computer. It might be so bad that the car wont start at all after a battery change and that,s because the car was powerless for a short while and the computer thinks its been stolen and hotwired.God luck

2001 Nissan Xterra Horn stopped working. Purchased new one and it too, does not work. Checked fuse under the hood and it's okay. What about the Fuse Link? Does that need to be replaced and if so, how? Not...

You should check fuse #32 (15amp) to make sure that it is good. then you should check the horn relay. Remove the relay and check for power source on two of the terminals (terminals 1 and 5). Press the horn button and you should have a ground on one terminal (terminal 2). The fourth terminal (terminal 3) should be power out to the horn. Terminal 4 is unused.
