Try to cycle the key several times from off to on but not start. When in the on, or run position leave it there for about 5 to 10 seconds then back to the off position. This will push out any possible air bubbles in the lines.

2004 nissan turn over but wont start. replace fuel pump and still got the same result

could be a problem with engine electrical or still with fuel delivery. unhook a fuel injector line while it cranks and see if it shoots out spurts gas, just as the fuel pump line is supposed to shoot out a stream of gas while cranking. if you replaced the fuel pump, and no gas shoots out the disconnected fuel pump line, there is an electrical problem, (fuse, relay or wiring issue) to your new fuel pump. if the gas spurts out the loose injector line, then move on to electrical:

first ensure your ignition coil has spark by disconnecting the coil ouput lead and shorting it out to the chassis of the car. you should see a spark, when you short that circuit while cranking. if you have spark, you will have to move on to the spark plugs/ cables, then the distributor cap/coil packs.

if its part of the electrical system, it will be sensitive to temperature/humidity, and that may be why it only fails to start early in the morning. if it were the fuel injector, it would be more likely to start cold, and NOT re-start after it had already been warmed up and cut off recently.

How do you remove fuel injectors from a 2003 Toyota rav4

ok now before you start disconnect the negative battery cable then relieve the fuel pressure by opening the gas cap, then remove the valve cover, then the throttle body, remove the two clamps then disconnect the wire harness from the intake manifold, then the four injectors connectors from the injectors, then remove the engine wire protector from the right side of the intake manifold, remove the EGR valve and the EGR valve pipe, remove the top fitting on the fuel filter and remove the fuel line from the fuel filter, move the brake booster vacuum hose from the intake manifold disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail, remove the fuel rail bolts, then remove the fuel injectors from the fuel rail, and when replacing the injectors always put new seals because the get hard and may not seal properly

Why is it that my 2003 impala will crank and turnover but wont start

I sounds like you have a fuel flow problem. Replace the in-line fuel filer located in the fuel line in front of the rear tire. Check out this web site for "how to" replace the in-line fuel filter.

Wont start

Locate your fuel filter, it's underneath follow the fuel line from the tank, disconnect the line coming from the tank at the filter. Turn the ignition on(no need to crank it). If fuel comes out? Your fuel pump is good. Reconnect the line, and disconnect the line on the other side of the filter. Turn the ignition on, if you don't get fuel? Then you have a bad filter. If you DO have fuel? Check for fuel at the fuel bar manifold going into the injectors. It will look like a tire fill valve. Also check the ignition coil make sure you are getting power to the distributor. I hope this helps you.

Maybe you have a plugged fuel return line. You have a fuel supply line and a fuel return. If its plugged you can not get the air out of the lines.Remove the the line and blow through it If you cant its clogged. Also you can prime the line line by turning your key on and off .You may need to disconnect the fuel line to make sure gas is coming out when you do this

2003 yukon 5.3 ran outa gas put some in now wont start?/??

Good chance that the fuse may have blew and needs to be replaced. If the fuse is still good, the bad news is the fuel pump may have burnt it self out and will need to be replaced. The fuel it self is what keeps the fuel pump cooled and keeps it from burning it self up. Good luck and start with the simple and check the fuse. Good luck and keep me posted.

I have a 2003 kia sorento ex. When the return line is removed....it starts fine.....but when it is placed back....it wont start. |Also......engine wont start when its hot......until its left off for about...

If you take the fuel return line off and it starts, it should spray some fuel out of the fitting the line slips onto. If not, you are either pulling the vaccum line or the pressure regulator is bad, or you could have a fuel pump going bad. One way to check the regulator is to apply vacuum to the port on the regulator and turn the key to "run" not start. With vacuum applied, fuel should run out of the return line fitting. If not, bad regulator or weak pump, maybey even a clogged fuel filter. If so, vacuum leak or blocked hose. Let me know if this helps :)
