It's probably your throw out bearing. you need to remove the transmission to replace it and might as well replace the clutch and slave cylinder while you are at it. $250 to DIY or $500-700 for a shop to do it...

150 truck 2001 stick shift is stuck

its a manual trans right? Its probably a bad clutch throw out bearing, clutch cable or shifter linkage. You'll need to get under the truck a test the clutch to find out. It might be difficult to replace at home without a lift. take it to a local transmission shop for the best labor costs

I need to replace the hydraulic throwout bearing, however no auto parts carrying them are they called something else? This is for a Ford F150

The clutch throw out bearing is what you are talking about? If it is you should be able to buy them at an auto parts store if not check with your local Ford dealer parts department. But they should be availeable. Good luck.

Knocking in the bottom of ford 5.4 liter engine

If you hear it knocking no bearing replacement is going to fix that long term. Its best to pull it, the crank shaft will have to be turned or polished and or replaced, weather its a rod or a maine, and posibly line boared if its a maine thats knocking. Do it right and pull it.

I had a very similar problem with my f150 lariat, and what solved the problem was: I took it to a mechanic and had the transmission fluid and filter changed.
