change the rubber around the trunk once you did not had an accident and sometime you may have the trunk adjust tighter

might check for plugged up drains in corners below the spare tire area and see if weatherstripping is in good shape around trunk.. also check for runoff of water with the trunk openned by slowly pouring water over base of back window..check for leakage..ansd plug leaking aereas

Hi Dj, The deck light (Interior courtesy light) receives power constantly and is grounded through switch. Look for a short circuit in the ground wires. Regards John

PULL OFF INNER TAIL PANEL IN TRUNK AND EITHER 10MM OR HAND SCREWS TO REMOVE IT LIGHT IS UNDER THERE YOU CAN DO THIS

I can tell you why....because it does this in my stratus!!!!

The trunk lid hinges are letting water into your trunk. All the water pools up in and under the spare, the trunk carpet is wet.....more than likely the driver's side of the trunk....pull that trunk carpet back from where that trunk hinge is mounted to the body, reach under there and feel all the water dripping in!

The fix? Unbolt those hinges and put silicone sealant around those bolts and mounts.....that'll take care of that crummy leak.....DODGES!!!!!

1, bad fuse. 2 both bulbs are bad. 3 bad groud wire. 4 check power to the bulb in trunk. bulb is not in the socket .

I looked this up on WikiAnswers. Apparently the 2005 dodge magnum has 2 fuse boxes. One is under the hood on the passenger side and the other is in the trunk, next to the battery, in the spare tire storage well.
