Have to see the dealer & also have an owners manual

How do you use the emergency key (small black plastic key hidden inside the fob) to OPEN my 2008 Passat? Is there a place on the door SOMEWHERE TO PUT THE KEY. duh on me, I can't find it.

I found out what to do, there is a plastic covering on the door handle. Click that off and the use the key in the key fob to unlock the door. You can lock & unlock it.

Dont have code for entry key pad

There is usually a sticker somewhere in the vehicle that has the code. (You didn't mention what kind of vehicle you have) Most of the sedans have the sticker on the inside of the trunk lid.

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM A REMOTE PAD FOR A MAZDA 626 EX 1995 PLEASE I REPLACED THE BATTERIES AND EVER SINCE THEN THE REMOTE DONT WORK

1. Remove key from ignition.
2. Close all doors.
3. Open driver side door and leave open.
4. Insert key in ignition, Turn key to ON (as far as you can go without starting the engine) and OFF, Remove Key.
5. Repeat step 4 two more times, making sure you remove key each time.
6. Close and then open the driver’s door three times.
7. Buzz sound or chime should be heard at this point signaling that the vehicle is now in programming mode. If not,
wait 40 seconds and return to step 1.

8. All transmitters need to be programmed at this time, including the old ones. Push any button on a transmitter two
times. A buzz sound to chime should be heard at this point signaling that the vehicle has accepted the new
transmitter code. Repeat for next transmitter, up to a total of three remotes (including any old remotes).

9. After all remotes are programmed, wait 15 seconds or until you hear four chimes signaling successful
programming.

Good luck and this should work.

2005 Chevrolet Silverado Automatic door locks

I assume you mean that the central locking system will not lock the doors but you can do so manually.

Get inside the vehicle and close all doors.

On each rear door, lock and unlock the mechanism manually a couple of times. In other words do not use the key pad.

Then leave both rear doors in the locked position (manual locking) and operate the lock button on you key pad to operate the central locking system. Wait a few seconds then hit unlock on your key pad and a few seconds later hit lock on your key pad.

If the system fails to lock your rear doors you will need to get the vehicle to an auto electrician to check out the issue and rectify it for you. There are a number of possible causes which cannot be identified without physically checking the system. So you will need to have this rectified by a professional.

Where can you find the door key pad code to a 1997 ford explorer?

it was originally provided on a plastic tag with the car purchase. if you bought this used, the previous owner may have thrown away this code or kept it buried somewhere. give any paperwork with the vehicle a onceover to see if it was included.

Key Problem on 87 Celica GT C onvertible

It would be rare to have the key code printed on the lock assembly on a Toyota. Some domestics provide this, but not Toyota. Best thing to do: Remove the door lock cylinder assembly from the door. Take it to a professional locksmith. Using his skills, he can "decode" the internals of your lock, and duplicate you a new key.
