Have a 1996 ford mustang GT There's a switch I don't know what is

I have a 1996 ford mustang GT There is a switch behind the hand brake that has a picture of a looks to be a light with lines in front of it representing a light beam . I don't have fog lights and I was wondering what it is, it still lights up when you push it. I just don't know what it is or what it does!

I have a 1996 Mustang GT. The button you're talking about is for the factory fog lights.

1995 Ford Mustang GT V8. Why do my dim headlights not work?

" dim headlights "? None of your lights should be 'dim'. You have 4 lights.

Side Lights.
Daytime Running Lights (DRL)
Low Beam Headlights.
High Beam Headlights.

Here are the fuses, check fuse 5 and D although they covers more items than lights. Your best bet is to find a good local auto-electrician.

Have a 1995 mustang gt where would my fusebox be located

The instrument panel fuse panel is located under dash (driver side) early brake.

The high current fuse panel is located in the engine compartment on the left-hand fender apron.

This is for one 1996 Mustang but can help like reference guide: 1996 Ford Mustang - Owners Manual (for FUSES, page 272 and next)

Hope help (remember comment and rated this).

Will not shift out of park

Check and see if your brake lights are functioning. If they are not then look for fuse #9 to be burned out. The shift interlock on these cars is dependent of brake light circuit and it BOO (brake on/off) switch to release the shift interlock.

1996 Ford Mustang AC

I don't know about the part #. But the low pressure switch is on top of the accumulator, maybe the compressor is not cycling due to low refrigerant. If you are low on refrigerant the low pressure sensor will shut off the compressor.

How do you reset the fuel pump circuit on 1996 mustang

Open the trunk, the reset switch is behind the drivers side tail light, or inside the rear fender area, behind the interior trunk liner. There should be a small place to put your finger through the trunk liner to reset it, without taking anything apart.
