Question about 2006 Toyota Corolla

Open Question

I was receiving an error 3 message on my 06 Toyota

I have a Factory Type 2 radio/cd player in my 06 Toyota Corolla. I was receiving an error 3 message on my radio/6 disk changer when I try to play & eject a cd. The manual says to fix the problem when you receive that message (error 3) is to eject all. So, I tried that none would eject (there are 6 disks inside) I then took it upon myself to disconnected the car battery several times waiting diff. time periods ranging from 5 mins to 15 mins. checking the radio each time, still no disks will eject. Now the radio displays no disks. How can I get my disks out so the complete radio/cd player will play & operate as normal?

you may have to use needle nose pliers to pull them out or remove the radio and open it up and remove them also take a look at the drive belt it may have broke, there are many electrionic places that will repair it if you remove it and take it to them, most of the one i run into broke a belt or 2cds were jamed inside it.

SOURCE: 2007 Subaru Impreza, the 6 CD changer will not

are there any cd's with homemade labels ,how many cd's are loaded?the dealer will recommend to remove the radio and send out for repair costing you a couple hundo or more depending on the problem if you're out of warranty, you'll also be out a radio until its repaired,if your factory warranty is still in they will just order an exchage unit and call you for install when it arrives. hope this helps, good luck!

My toyota corolla 86120 -02280 plays a CD plate, but does not produce any audio except when i am playing the FM radio

Try suggestion 1, since resetting seems to be the only plausable idea. Otherwise, buy a new CD player. After market decks are usually better than factory ones, and you can get one that plays any file format from CD's or USB drives.

Cd player error

so is this a stock RAD/cd?
stock JBL 6 disk player in dash>? or? what? name and model #
mp3 and wma format. but not DVD
or
JBL premium 4-disc in-dash CD changer
io the single disc player, 3 kinds sold. new.

and now comes the big question.
TELLS where you got the disk, or name it, or tell how it was made if home made. we dont know that.

is said CD a CDDA? or not. (always try CDDA first)
is CD a real music disc. from a real store, CDDA, is that.
or CDR, or DVDr, or CDRW, or other record-able media
is music MP3? files.
see, the old units dont play modern media.

try 2 real discs, not scratched.
do they play?
one other way, is to name the radio, brand, like JBL then get the
p/n off it. (hard) then look up the product data sheet on it,
bingo, what it can and can not do is there.

but this does it all, mostly
does what yours will not do.

you can replace your CD player with the same type, or you can buy the chinese product working well that I bought for my car priced 120 USD. that is a touch screened, with MP3, USD aux input ...etc.
