If your talking about the heater fan that blows heat into the car then remove it and check for dirt or leaves stuck on or near fan. if there are no trash in the blower fan then replace it,most of the time the clicking is not the fan, if the fan is off and you hear clicking then its not the fan, its the blend door acuator and its stripped and you hear it jumping over the gears, if thats the case then replace the blend door actuator motor.hope this helps.

2010 Lincoln MKS Heated Seat on driver's side stopped working (Light in button turns off on its' own)

The most common cause of this problem is that the drivers seat heater grid is open or burned out. That is based on 25 years as a Ford dealer technician.

When I start the car there's a loud sqeeking noise that goes away after 1 minute 2003 es 330

if it was mine, I would buy some "fan belt dressing spray" and spray my fan belts or have them adjusted. first spray them once, if sound stops a few days, have the tension adjusted. if spray does not work the first time, this is not the problem.

Bailey19@i hav a 1991 h-accord ex. I have two fans. once i turn the engine off. one of the fans starts running until i disconnect the battery cable.

It actually supposed to work like this. It should turn off in a couple of minutes. Give it a try. Wait for like 10 min to see if it will stop.

Jaguar s type 2000 over heats when stop in traffic,

Hello,
Here a two of the most common causes for overheating;

1. Low coolant.

2. Faulty thermostat.

Make sure your coolant level is up to the FULL line on the coolant reservior, ( do not fill completely up or you cauld cause the check engine light to come.)

Check to see if the thermostat is working.

How to test the thermostat in most vehicles;
Make sure the heater is off, start the engine and let it run for 6 to 8 minutes, ( this will allow the
engine to reach, " normal operating temperature "), from the inside of the vehicle turn the heater
temperature on high and turn the fan speed on high.
1. Listen very closely for a click sound from the engine, ( most thermostats make a click when
they open )
2. Watch your temperature guage, it should begin to lower as the coolant starts to circulate.
3. Usually within a few minutes the radiator fan will kick.

I hope this helps you.

If running mutiple errands and the car has been startet and stopped after a few times when trying to start the engine the wont stay running.

Most modern vehicles using an electric cooling fan have a thermostatic switch that will allow them to run even after the engine is turned off. Start and stop driving can cause heat buildup in the block which can cause problems such as the one you have and if the fan isn't bringing the excessive heat down during a stop, the hot engine can refuse to idle or accept fuel as it should.
You should listen to see if the fan is turning on after the ignition is off; this is sometimes delayed for a minute or so until the thermostatic switch adjusts to the rising block temperature and starts the fan. If the main fan is belt-driven, it may be the AC fan that is used for this purpose.

you have a bad fan relay for the secondary fan. Have it replaced and that should fix the problem. Good luck.

Fan noise upon starting.

It could be the belts that are slipping on initial start-up. When the belts are cold, they will slip if the belt(s) are loose. It could also be the tensionoer pully. This is not normal for any vehicle under any circumstances. Good Luck Jim
