Open hood, look on top of head light assm, you will see a bolt or screw, these hold assm in. remove, and pull out assm. Turn lock collar, remove old bulb, install new, BUT DO NOT TOUCH GLASS END OF BULB WITH YOU HAND, the oil from your skin will make the bulb explode when it is heated.

What kind of head light bulb do i need for a 2008 buick allure?

http://www.partstrain.com/store/details/Buick/Allure/Recon/Headlight_Bulb/2008/CX/6_Cyl_3-dot-8L/REC2649007PB.html

This site was very helpful. You can check to see if it'll fit your car exactly and you don't have to buy from them. (unless of course they're cheaper than everywhere else) call around see if anyone carries the part, and how much; you know do your homework, then if it all points to the site, then there ya go.

2007 buick allure headlights will not turn on parking lights work, high beams work. no low beams or daytime running lights

As you described the problem the solution is to replace the headlight bulbs, they have two elements one for normal lighting or low beam and one for high beams. the elements for the low beams are continuously used and are subject to burn sooner.
