Question about 1994 Nissan Pickup
Black smoke is an indication that your engine is running too rich. There could be a problem with the timing. Since the starter will crank and you have checked for spark and fuel delivery I would say the only thing left is your timing. If you have never adjusted timing it is not something you can just go out and do. Check your distributor cap and points.
