You mean wiper arm ? Probably broken wiper arm linkage bushing you can't see , under the cowling . Can you move the passenger wiper arm up an down without much effort ? An not the drivers side ? To see it or get at it you would need to pull wiper arms off an take cowling off to get at it . There are nuts on the wiper arm posts under plastic caps[ if still there ] they looen sometimes and the arm won't move turn off the wipers so the 'park' and check the nut for tightness - should be quite snug. it that dosen't fix it then you have a linkage problem from the motor.

The windshield wiper driver side does not move. Passenger side does. How do I get to it?

The wiper motor must be directly linked to the passenger side wiper, and the driver side wiper gets its action from the passenger motion. probably the linkage from passenger wiper to the driver side wiper must be the problem. Under the dashboard you can check it, the linkage must be snapped off. (safety first)

Good Evening. First off I would like to give you a little advice on your passenger side windshield wiper. On your windshield wipers there is a nut at the base of the arm, try tightening that nut down (of course while your wipers are off) and that should make it work going off the description of your wiper problem. Your Antilock and trac off are lights that are tied into your antilock brake system and will both come on together. Your high pitched squeal could be a few things like brake pads, or a backing plate rubbing. Your hub assembly really won't make a squeal but would be a good reason for the anti lock light to be on. Your best bet is to have the antilock system scanned for codes to know exactly what is making the system to pass a code. Any other questions please feel free to ask. Hope this helps.

2002 Axiom drivers side windshield wiper doesn't work

the wiper arm mount is keyed(*tab to slot style) and it may have broken. Remove the wiper arm and look for the grooves.. no groves then it has been stripped and broken. Some also have a nut on top of the mounting point as a retainer. Just basically check where the wiper is attached to the control assembly.

There should be a circuit breaker which shuts down the wipers when they are frozen. Sounds like the breaker didn't do its job and the wiper motor fried. My guess is it needs replacing.

Sounds like you need two new wiper motors. I beliveve the gearing inside the motors are worn out and now theres alot of play in them. Try wiggling the wipers with you hands and see if you can feel any up or down / side to side movement.
