Wher is the thermostat on a 1999 Mustang

It's located in the from of the engine. Look for the top radiator hose follow it to the engine it connects to the thermostat housing that's mounted with 2 bolts to the engine. The thermostat is located inside that housing.

Check the prongs on the #1 coil to see if it is crackd if it is left alone it will eventually turn to a multiple misfire, also take the coil off to make sure nothing is shorting out.

I got stuck in a traffic jam last night for about an hour. After that my car began to leak coolant out of the return resevoir from the cap. The temp gauge still reads normal but after driving for a bit...

Check and make sure your top radiator hose is hot when engine is warmed up, is it hard, can you squeeze it ? , we are looking to see if you have a head gasket leak, if so your engine will pump air into the cooling system, and over pressurize it, also check your radiator cap, or replace ot with one that has the same pressure.

Yes i was wondering can i swap out a 2003 ford mustang cobra motor and put it in a 1993 Lincoln Mark Vlll they both have the same engine 4.6L 32v 4cams just mustang cobra has a supercharger so i was...

can it be done? Yes. is it easy? No. While the basic design of the engine is the same, they are completely different. The cobra in 2003, had different heads, intake and rotating assembly. Also the 03 cobra is an ODBII vehicle while your 93 model is ODBI. i have seen several mark viii's that retained the stock engine, but bolted on the cobra intake. It requires some modifications but is relatively straight forward. hit up some of the mark viii forums, they pictures and in depth discussions on how the swaps are done.
