First, is the steering wheel cranked one way very tightly ? you may have to pull the steering wheel very hard to unlock the steering wheel lock, if not Do you have any other keys for the car ? If so try them, if they do not work then you will have to replace the key tumbler assembly.

this was a recall on most accords. it is the ignition switch. dont wait to long it is dangerous my mom was having this problem in a 1998 accord and it got worse and started stalling at intersections. But it is a recall. depending on your VIN number they might do it for free. Call honda and verify. How bout a fix ya. good luck i hope you get it done for free. we had to pay :(

98 honda accord car alarm will not let car start.

Try chaning the main relay. It is $60 at the dealer, cheaper on e-bay. There is also a way to repair the sodlering connection on it if you want to try and save some money. Check youtube for a video on how to rapir main relay on Honda's. Any questions, e-mail me at edwardmgomez@hotmail.com

How do i reset the dash lights on a 98 Honda Accord v6

I assume you want to reset you maint required light. Try this: With the key off, press and hold the select/reset button on the dash. Then turn the key on, with the button still pressed the light will start flashing and then go out. (It takes about 10 seconds to go out.)

My 98 honda v6, parked on incline now won't start

I think the incline is not the cause; it sounds very much like a battery down from some (possibly interior) light having been on during its downtime. I suggest a jump to see if it is only nothing more mysterious than a depleted battery.
