These are sealed units. They also have a drain hose on the back side which can be plugged up. Removal of the lamp must be done to reseal the lamps seams if wanted and to clean the vent drain

isnt the drain a little high on the lens? i keep burning out lamps during the winter months. i have to physically drain them, and i do not see any cracks in the lenses. Happens on both sides to my 2006

I had the same problem with my 2002 rendezvous and it was caused by cracks forming on the taillight lenses. I do not remember doing anything to cause this and wonder if it is common. I had to drain the water out and let it dry by taking the tailgate lens off and removing the bulbs. I went to the autoparts store and someone told me to seal the cracks with clear silicon like the ones you use to seal bathroom tile. They sell this right there and so far this has worked.

Same thing happened with my 2006 Buick Rendezvous my brother in law took the lens off and tap small holes with a drill and drill bit to let the water drain freely it seems to work well now but yes I think this is a common problem with rendezvouz.

2006 Buick Rendezvous labors when n park & o in idle. Slight vibration & feels like engine is straining. Up running it seems fine, plenty of power.Fuel injectors or? Plugs good, wires new a year ago

Do you have a check engine light on? If so have you had the PCM fault codes read? It sounds like you have a misfire in one or more engine cylinders, and that is most noticeable at idle and in drive.

Buick rendezvous 2006 - red light says "brake

Open the hood; look on the driver's side, toward the back of the engine compartment, where you will see a large drum mounted onto the firewall. On the front of this drum( the brake power vacuum booster) you will see a small, rectangular block with a plastic tank mounted on top. This is your brake fluid reservoir. On the side you will see 2 lines cast into the plastic; a ' full' line and an ' add ' line. Remove this cap ( black plastic ) and fill to the top ( full ) line. Replace cap and look over the system , since the brake system is designed to not need additional fluid as your brake pads wear normally. If you need to keep adding fluid, you may have a leak which could cause some serious braking issues. You may also want to have your brake pads inspected as you may need them replaced, as well as having the brake rotors turned ( resurfaced).
I hope this helps!!

The left rear tail light housing gets filled with water every time it rains. We don't know how the water is getting in. Any solutions?

The gasket between the light assembly and the body is a poor design and lets water into the housing when it rains hard after it dries out after a few years. Taking the lights off and replacing the gasket or adding sealant may help. I drilled a small hole in the bottom of each plastic housing for the water to drain out and resealed the lights too. Any water that gets in drains out the tailgate drain holes. Problem solved.

How do I replace the wiper blades on my 2006 buick rendezvous? the driver's side blade was knocked loose and came unhooked when I was scraping ice off my windshield earlier today. How do I put the blade...

look on the other wiper blade on the opposite side
and notice how it fits. Maybe even try to take it off. this should teach you how to put it on, it should slip into the u grove and clip.

My 2002 Buick rendezvous back tail light has is filling with water. I see droplets but can't tell how to stop it.

remove the entire light assembly and put silicone around all seams - not too many where the light bulb gets replaced - that should seal it -

also call the local dealer -- with the VIN number and ask about recalls
