Question about 2002 Kia Sedona
My Kia Sedona 2.9l (manufactured 2003)has a contaminated fuel tank. The pump to the injectors has contaminated the tank with metal. The pump needs replacing and all 4 injectors require changing. Cost is about £2k...no money to pay it....what would you suggest? scrap it(how much would you get for it), replace the injectors and hope to sell it?
I have the same problem and it is true the injector pump has failed and the injectors need cleaning and filters to the tank needs taking off and cleaning to .I'm am mechanic and had to have the injectors cleaned for me it was £120 the fuel pump cost me £250 for a replacement and i did the tank my self (DONOT )just do the injectors it will clog up again you have to do the full job sorry but that the only way .hope Ive bin a help Steve

How could the pump failure contaminate the injectors when the fuel filter will catch all debris. Sounds like someone is trying to take you for a ride! Shop around for a honest repair shop,there out there! Have the fuel pump and fuel filter changed and you should be fine.I hate when shops try taking advantage of customers.
