Hi it may have a poor aerial connection at the back of the radio or there will either be some contact between the aerial and the car body, inspect these first.

My 2008 ford focus sirius radio stopped working. sirius tried to reprogram, but it didn't work

Did Sirius resend a signal? If it is displaying their number it is likely that your subscription needs to be updated. The fact that it displays their info means it is likely receiving a signal. If it said "no tuner" or nothing at all, it would likely be the tuner. You can resend a signal online here:

If that does not work, replacement kits are available here:

Ford car radio losing signal. I get about fifteen minutes of perfect radio sound and then it disappears and all I get is static and squealing

hi, you could try plugging a spare antenna in where the stock one is but it sounds like its toast so call around at junkyards. I bet you could find an exact replacement for real cheap, or maybe even a better upscale version then go to autozone.com for radio removal instructions. you have to set up a free account to get the directions

Radio doesnt work

If the radio itself is not recieving any signal, it is time to replace the radio. These are getting cheaper and cheaper in certain cars. When you go to replace it, the key to this is, purchase for around $20 the plug in harness. It gets **** connected to the new stereos harness and then plugs directly to the vehicles existing harness so you don't need wiring diagrams or screw with the lighting. You can be done in about 30 minutes even as a novice.
