SOURCE: Oil leak

Hello Pierre,
A little more detail may help me on this one, however this sounds like possibly your power steering pipe? both these use auto trans fluid it is reddy brown in colour and viscosity (Thickness) watery.
If this is the pipe, check the fluid reservoir it should have either a Yellow top with power steering or a steering wheel diagram on it.
If full then please give me more information as to location on engine where pipe comes from and goes too as nowadays engine oil is usually internally dispersed. Only oil cooler pipes possibly? will go to a finned type radiator usually near the front grille of the vehicle.
I hope this points you in the right direction as I'm thinking of giving this help up as very hard to remain on top slot when loads of questions responded to and no replies.
Good Luck,

SOURCE: Signs of clutch and gearbox failure

If you drive it easy and don't take off lie a rabbit and drive like grandma it would be possible to miss clutch wearing out. As far as gearbox damage is concerned it depends on how long you let it go before fixing. If you have to shove it into gear you can damage syncros and bend shift forks. And if it goes long enough that would ruin the gears and bearings with enough metal in the oil that could wear shaft and bearings. You will get clutch chatter and your performance will be poor mileage will drop. And the clutch chatter can cause the flywheel to be damaged and need to be surfaced, it could burn up the slave cylinder, so it is not wise to let it go, as it will cost more money.

SOURCE: My 1997 Range Rover shows "gearbox failure, abs

if you have a issue with the abs all three lights will come on if you have a issue with the traction control all three lights will appear. and so on. it could be a wheel speed sensor or a host of many other things. my wife land rover has the same three lights on but still drives great. she has a bad wheel bearing in which triggered her wheel speed sensor fault and bingo three lights.

Oil leak from my SSangyong Rexton 2.7XDI continues to be a problem

drain /remove the oil until the correct level is obtained on the dip stick for starters . Next the "O" ring seal on the side of the box at the harness should be fitted with the use of a sealant ( locktite blue or red) in to a dry hole and allowed to skin . Incorrect fluid levels will cause the oil to aerate and flow out of any breather holes and will pressurize the transmission placing a strain on any seal .

i doubt its a sudden occurrence. Get the throttle body off and clean it with carb cleaner until its spotless. Check all breather pipes on manifold and intake side and make sure they are clean. Other possible cause is bad throttle position sensor.....

I am looking for assistance with my transmission for the truck mentinoed (1994 chevy sierra c1500). the seals have expanded and the fluid has leaked out.

I assume it's a manual transmission,
Check that the gearbox air breather vent is not blocked. If so, top up with gearbox oil and re-check for leaks.
Replace all leaking seals, if cleaning the breather doesn't fix it.

Selespeed failure code

First try to replace the gearbox oil and do transmission flush (cheapest solution). This is how to do it

If problem persists you need to have the gearbox fixed/replaced
