Question about 1993 Toyota Camry V6

Camry 93 v6 emitting smoke.

Good Morning,

I have a camry 93 v6 which ran almost 300k KM. I was out of the region for a month and nobody started the car in between. So when I came back, the battery was dead. I had to do a jump start and since then it was emitting enormous smoke out of it. I went to the mechanic here and he says that the computer inside is malfunctioning and therefore the gasoline is directly coming in the carborator to the extend that my car can catch fire. The possible solution he sees is to replace the computer. Please advice. Is the mechanic right here. I trust him very much.

thanks and regards
Azmath

If the smoke is white you have a punctured head gasket.
If the smoke is blue the oil rings on the valves or pistons are gone.
If the smoke is black too much fuel enters the cylinders. It could be the calculator or it could be a control valve stuck open.

Good day. yes sir he may be right because on fuel injected cars everything should pass to the computer but if it bypasses the computer then something must be wrong so i strongly advice to have your computer box replaced. hope this helps. have a nice day

93' toyota camry takes to long to warm up in the

Sounds like a dead spark plug or faulty wire, or even out of time. Start with changing plugs. No change, do the wires. No change check the timing belt. It may have jumped a cog. As for the slow to warm up part, the misfire won't help that problem, but you may need to change the thermostat if it doesn't improve once you get it running on all cylinders.

My camry 2001 v6 engine emits black smoke and **** in traffic

Black smoke indicates running "rich" (using excessive fuel) sounds like an injector is sticking open. I would first run a strong fuel system cleaner through it. (Maybe even have a professional fuel system cleaning) Ques? When was last tune up? A dirty air filter would contribute, but not make alot of black smoke.

Fuel efficency

check for a split in the air intake tube. the v6 has a mass air flow sensor. if air is entering the engine without being counted by the mass air flow sensor it will cause a rich condition.
