I have a 1996 jeep grand cherokee limited. when you first get in the car and drive it drives fine then all the sudden it will act like it is not in gear. no lights will come up. when i slowed down it seemed like it was in first gear but will not shift into anyother gear it is an automatic. when i manualy shift it in first then to second i will not go in to gear. still no lights came on. i stopped at a gas station and disconnected the negetive cable and reconnected it the car worked for a time then went back to the problem. i also tryed replacing the pcm it still does not want to shift right.
