First start with the fuel pump, then check your fuel filter or filters, this could make it run rough.

I got a Susuki vitara 1994 model which has no acceleration.

Does the check engine or service soon light come on ? It is possible that the cataletyic converter is pluged or the stuff inside the cat some times will break apart and block the outlet in the exaust pipe causing lack of power.

Does ignition module control fuel

there is no such model on this car.
this car has EFI, in 1992 , the 8 valve has TBI injection and the 16valve G16B had MPI (4 injectors)
both engines the ECU, creates spark at all times.
the input to the ECU is CMP /CKL cam and crank sensors
then the ECU computes ADVANCE and then drives the ignitor
next to the Ign coil. the coil charges and the ECU release this
charge and BAM , mr. Tesla inductive spark. hits the DIZZY.
that is how spark works.

the ECU controls fuel not spark , or better the ECU controls
spark INDEPENDENTLY from fuel;. (with exceptions)
exceptions:
or are you asking about the fuel safety feature built in to all EFI
cars 1988 too now? that is the ECU does monitor Spark
and CMP and CKP and does in fact cut fuel, when the ECU
sees spark missing, yes. It cuts the INJECTORS !

as does , wide open throttle cranking cuts fuel. (injection)
and fuse is (fuel pump) cut after 3 second key on, unless you crank it or runs.

see block diagram here.

99 Honda CRV, Irratic idle and shifting hard after rpms reach around 3500.

A/T hard shifts. well if RPM is way too high ,then that is NORMAL.
it's the RPM wrong.
my joke, is sell car to Toyota, they need 1 more lawsuit.
joking aside, this car has EFI (electronic fuel injection , system)
and in all EFI cars, the ECU/PCM controls idle at all times.
this is called IAC or ISC, idle speed controls and the devices.

if the idle is out of control it can be because. (yours is)
1: air leaks ( vacuum) in the intake systems and plenum.
2: bad or dirty IAC or ISC. (clean them and test them)
3: if car has DIZZY (old) someone set the timing way off.
distributor. cars. and some early CMP cam angle sensor cars.

also, the ECU can in fact lose idle controls while in limphome mode. so is the CEL off running?
if not ,? scan the ECU for all DTCs codes and post them and get help.

CEL = check engine lamp, RTM , read the op guide.
or rhere

97 wrangler 2.5 running rich

rich,101
this is a MAP , speed density EFI fueling system,,,,
not misfiring.
in no order,
  1. map reads, low all the time cause rich, (low means low vacuum that is real) the ECU sees that and adds huge fueling.
  2. fuel pressure way too high bad PFR.
  3. injector leaking i do an injector leakdown test, or balance test, like the book shows. (and has 3 causes)
  4. front 02 sensors struck lean , forced ECU to go RICH. Any exhaust (its air sucking in) leaks, cause the 02 to go nuts or stick at 0v all the time. and RICH will happen. unplug it , get better?
we use simple tools to find this.
is vacuum at 19 inches HG at idle.? hot? sealevel #s/
???? clean the map yet?

Idel's is rough only some time, its not rough all the time,

ZULFIQARDR HAS A TOYOTA CAMRY CAR, SOUND LIKE ROUGH IDLING COULD BE CAUSED BY WEAK FUEL PUMP,DIRTY FUEL INJECTORS, FOUL OUT SPARK PLUGS CAUSED BY LEAKING FUEL INJECTORS,LOW IDLE SPEED, CHECK IDLE SPEED CONTROL COULD BE TOO LOW ARE FAULTY LOOK FOR VACUUM LEAKS ON INTAKE MANIFOLD.BAD LEAKING ENGINE VALVES.

Really rough engine idle at cold start up,, reving the engine seems to smooth it out,,,,

Some causes about rought idle could be:
- Valve adjustment
- Incorrect ignition timing,
- Vacuum leaks
- Bad ignition wires (Test w/ ohmmeter)
- Incorrect idle speed
- Cold Start Injector always "ON" (Revised injector time switch avail.)

A source of rough idle in EFI engines is air leaks or vacum leaks these leaks will upset the fuel mixture without triggering any codes. A bad oxigen sensor will also cause a rough idle, but you should see a code for it ( I think is number 5, but check it).

A good place to start would be an inspection of the spark plugs, plug wires, ignition timing, and idle speed. Next would be valve adjustment. Don't overlook the simple things.

Hope this helps, keep us updated and just keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

I HAVE A 1998 FORD EXPLORER AND IT HESITATES ON ACCELERATION AND SOMETIMES IDLES ROUGH. I REPLACED THE SPARK PLUGS, WIRES, AND THE COIL PACK AND STILL HAVE THIS PROBLEMS. THE CODES SHOW MISSFIRES IN BANK 3...

Try running some fuel injector cleaner through your fuel tank. What you may have are a couple of plugged or missfiring fuel injectors. I would suggest checking all of your wiring to your injectors to insure good connection, replace your fuel filter and check for vacuum leaks.

Missfire on number 3 coil on 2001 S type Jaguar 3.0 V6 Sport

Check the igniter module.
I assume you have a ecu code telling you #3 coil is missfiring ?
If so also check the crankshaft angle sensor .
If it is not an error code do a compression test and check the injector.
Hope this helps

I have a 2003 tracker 2.0 liter codes p0304 in it i replaced all plugs & # 4 coil sometimes it works fine & other times it misfires on # 4 misfires at idle & slow speeds but seems to pull fine at highway...

Mary, Sounds like you have a lean missfire issue that may be caused by a dirty injector or possible air or vacuum leak at or near the injector. The injector is seated in a machined hole in the cylinder head or intake manifold. The injector is then sealed in the machined hole using an "O" ring seal to prevent unmetered air from entering the induction system. If the "O" ring is brittle, broken or damaged it will excess air into the system at low speeds and cause a lean fuel missfire to occur. Check to make sure there are no vacuum hoses running to #4 cylinder that are cracked or disconnected. Then
check around the injector base, you can squirt a small amount of carburetor cleaner around the injector base to see if the rough idle problem momentarily stops. If there is no change you may be looking an intermittent injector issue.
Let me know what you find before changing the injector.
Good luck.
