SOURCE: car wont start has power has fuel and starter

The security system is activated. It kills the injector pulse ( signal) and on some modles the starter. You will need to try to relearn the system. First try to start the car, leave the key in the run position for 10 minutes. Cycle the key off, then cycle it to the run position again for 10 more minutes. Cycle it off again, then back to run for another 10 min. after the last cycle turn it off then try to start the car. It is a 30 minute relearn. If this does not work you will need a repair shop to replace the passlock sensor. Good Luck

Testimonial: "it was in the ignition and the security activated i had to replace the whole igintion key and all "

SOURCE: 1995 BMW 525i. Car will not start or turn over.

I had the same problem, after having the car towed to four Seasons, it was discovered that the electrical portion of the ignition switch was defective. Works like a charm. Part number 61 32 8 356 026 Hope this will help.

Car won't start. Lights and radio flickered while driving for a couple days then car wouldnt start. New alt and good battery. Tried to jump and lights come on but radio doesnt. Theres no starter click

Check the fusible link wire first.

Then check battery voltage.

Then check the cleanliness and contact surfaces and the tightness of the battery cables. Do the same on the starter solenoid connections/wires.

Car wont start has charged battery lights and radio come on new starter. drainging battery even though the battery is fully charged its reading its not tempature gauge reading hot but its not runn

If the problem began when (or soon after) installing the new starter, start checking there. Ensure that all cables to the starter are tight. As a second possibility, if the new starter was actually a rebuilt replacement, the solenoid could be faulty. (I went through three rebuilt starters on my son's truck until we got one that worked properly.)

I have a 2003 Honda accord that will not start! Tried to jump battery..all fans and belts were running however car would not turn over...bought a new battery and replaced with old now my car want do a

I have seen issues like this on other Honda's and the problem turned out to be the ignition starter switch. Do this, jumper power directly to the starter solenoid trigger wire and see if the engine cranks.

2001 FORD ESCAPE - new Battery still wont start - no lights no radio no crank

I remember the same thing happening to a Ford car - when the battery was removed, the wire supplying power to the vehicle dropped onto the battery tray and was covered when the battery was replaced. The guy reconnected all the wires he could see but could not understand why his car remained dead.

I expect something similar has happened to your car.

Car won't start...radio and lights and heater all work..can hear a buzzing sound by the starter,,,has a fairly new battery,,,,,

Have the battery tested and check battery posts for corosion. The buzzing sound is the solonoid trying to connect but there is not enough current to turn the engine. It take a lot more current to turn the engine than it does to run the radio, lights and/or heater fan. It is also possible to get a new battery with a dead or bad cell in it. The battery may not have enough cold cranking amps for your model vehicle. Take it back to where ever you bought the battery. If it is within the warranty period, they should give you a prorated discount on the replacement.

if the starter is clicking, try tapping on it with a hard piece of wood, like that of a hammer handle, while someone tries to start the car. if it starts, replace the starter. also make sure electrcal connectins on the starter are tight and clean. and check the starter relay if applicable

Lights and radio work, car won't start. After it

Could be the starter, but more likely its the battery. The lights and radio take about 10 amps; the starter takes about 200-300 amps. Most likely the battery has reached the end of its life.

Car will not start , almost like the battery is dead but lights/radio are working fine, the starter will not even turn ?!

Do the lights and radio still work while trying to start the car? If not, the battery is shot. If so, then either the starter relay, starter soleniod, or starter motor is defective.
