The sound you hear, is it a whining, popping, grinding, scraping or rattling sound?
If you drive a manual transmission vehicle and notice a grinding noise, it can indicate the clutch gear is no longer disengaging correctly.
Camshaft sensors fire the injector sequence. If all else is good. You would just start losing gas mileage. Hesitation is usually a dirty air filter and throttle body. What codes did you get?
Don't know why you would be here asking or driving a vehicle with that issue & the emissions light on. It should have been in a shop a long time ago I'm going to guess & say the Exhaust Converter is worn out & blocking the exhaust getting out & you have to check why it failed & correct those issues before installing a new one
You have may have one of the following issues, low fuel press due to a pump or plugged filter, a plugged exhaust system, mainly the cat converter, a defective MAFsensor. Do you have any trouble codes
