How to adjust headlight?

Carefully & considerately!

Headlamp Adjusting needs to be done with the vehicle loaded as it will be in ordinary use.
As you can see by the many and varied tools and screws available... there are MANY & VARIED configurations of HEADLIGHT AVAILABLE: On the EURO -Style '92 to 96 JAGUAR XJS headlights... they adjust from inside the wheel-well
(so there is NO ANSWER to a single question about raising or lowering ANYTHING).

Discussing which way to turn what screws without knowing your precise make, model and year is frivolous waste of your valuable reading time.

Including the model, year & make of the vehicle... WILL IMPROVE the quality of the answer immensely...

I am including some videos from the internet...

Hope you find these helpful.

The adjustment screws should be on side and top of headlight bulb when looking from the front. Turn them to adjust.

Adjust headlights on 92 blazer

To adjust lights there are two screws on each light one on the side adjusts left and right settings, one on the top adjusts up and down settings. You may need to spray some lube on screws to free them up so you don't break them off.

How do you adjust the headlights on a 1997 chevy blazer (S-10) 4WD.

The adjustment screws/nuts should be located either on the top of the headlamp assembly, behind the headlamp assembly, or near the frame rail by the radiator support.

You will have vertical adjustment screws for each independent beam (separate highs and separate lows, but will be same screw if highs and lows are the same bulb). You may also have additional horizontal adjustment screws as well

Park your car on a level ground 30 feet from a wall and measure the height from the ground to the bulb and mark on a wall (do this for highs beams and low beams if the bulbs are separate, if highs and lows are the same bulb, only do it for the lows)

For Low Beams: If the headlights read VOR, then aim the brightest part or cutoff part just below the mark on the wall. If it says VOL or nothing, aim them 2 inches below the mark on the wall.

For High Beams (if separate from low beams): Aim the headlight directly at the line you marked on the wall.

Replace headlight bulbs on a 2000 chevy blazer LT.

Yes, you can. Just take off the front grill, and the
headlights assembly. Don't tinker with the head-
light assembly adjusting nut, as this would change your headlight level. Take headlight bulb
off and change it. Replace the headlight, then, the
grill, and it's done.
