It should be on the firewall..aka bulkhead on the drivers side..Should look like a pop can sized motor with a square back cover at one end..three 10 mm bolts hold the whole assembly to the firewall...If they are inoperative..some times tightening the mounting bolts will get them working again..the ground circut is through one of the bolts as it is rubber mounted..good luck..

SOURCE: am looking to replace my windshield wiper motor,

It is located under the hood just in front of the windshield on the firewall. You need to remove the plastic grill that covers the wiper assembly & remove the appropriate hardware holding the wiper motor in place. Good luck!

How to replace a 99 se Bonneville windshield wiper motor

Windshield wiper motors are generally easy to replace. You need to remove the windshield wipers and take off the small grill panel above the hood and under the windshield. You should see the motor in there. It simply unbolts and unplug the electrical connector and replace it with a new one.

Where is wiper motor located

Not enough info to know what you are working on . But I will shoot in the dark and hope for the best . If it's the front wipers there is usually a air intake strip ( metal plate with what looks like fins or ribs ) between the windshield and hood . The wiper motor will be located under the strip , if it isn't under the hood bolted to the fire wall

  • Locate the wiper motor, and disconnect the electrical wires from it by unplugging them. The wiper motor is in the engine compartment against the back firewall near the driver's side.
Disconnect the wiper arms from the wiper motor linkage by using the pliers to remove the clip.
Locate the wiper motor in the engine compartment on the back firewall and remove it with the proper size wrench. There are three attaching bolts.
Remove the wiper motor by twisting it around if you have to. The wiper arm linkage will come out with it. good-day !

  • 3Remove the cowl grill under the windshield wipers using the proper size screwdriver. This is the grill that you see under the wiper arms before the engine compartment hood starts.

Windshield wipers do not work, tried checking fuse box under hood but all fuses are working. Need to know where fuse is located for windshield wiper, or where windsheild wiper motor is.

There is also a fuse module located on the passenger side of the center console under the dash. You can pull the plastic cover panel off by hand. This should be where the wiper motor fuse is located.
